Rudnick: 美国科学院院士、美国马里兰大学地质系教授、系主任。她先后担任国际权威地学刊物Geology、Journal of Geophysical Research、Precambrian Research、Geochemistry-Geophysics-Geosystems编委，Chemical Geology主编，并主编反映近20年国际地球化学进展系列从书Treatise on Geochemistry 第3卷The Crust。 Rudnick教授是国际顶尖中青年地球化学家之一，是国际下地壳地球化学研究领域最杰出的科学家，她在全球下地壳结构、组成、生长和壳幔交换作用研究方面做出了奠基性工作，发表论文90余篇，其中7篇论文发表在Nature和Science上，论文被SCI引用4844次。 Rudnick教授的研究兴趣主要是大陆（特别是大陆下地壳和岩石圈地幔）的起源与演化。通过对岩相学、岩石学、主量和微量元素地球化学、同位素地球化学及地球物理数据的总合，研究地壳总成分和影响地壳成分演化的地质作用以及为什么地球会有大陆。另外，她还利用Li同位素体系对流体活动、大陆风化和地壳循环作用进行示踪研究。 Rudnick教授学历背景 PhD 1988 The Research School of Earth Sciences, Aust.
